I got a brand new Hampton Bay 600W transformer (300w per port) and have about 250w worth of lights set on 200ft perimeter yard area. I had utilized 14g wire but had the lights were severely dimmed (barely a candle's worth of light at the end of the 200ft line). I ''traded up'' to 10g wire and now have NONE of the lights powering up. HELP!
It sounds like you had a voltage drop problem at the beginning with the lights being dimmed at the end of the line. Verify that the fuse is not blown in the transformer and that you do have voltage. Is the transformer plugged into a GFCI outlet and has tripped? Your wire size should fix the dimmed light issue. Get back if this doesn't help.Have a great day
