My Hotpoint WD129 does not go past the wash cycle of the programme it just sits there and keeps on washing in an endless loop, how can I fix this?
Is there a reset I can do to?
The solution was correct it was the heating element, after it was replaced the machine now works fine !!!!

Its possable not pumping out water when it should, is it???
Note'that if a washing machine dose not heat it cannot move to next cycle maybe its not heating the water, best of luck maybe heating element ,bye for now

If I change to a manual rinse then the water pumps out!
I seems like the computer programme is not advancing past the first wash cycle, is there some way to reset the computer chip or does it require a Hotpoint engineer to do it ?
I had the model wrong it is a Hotpoint BWD129.
