Need an oil filter for Kohler Model CV491S - Garden

It could be fuel pump or carburetor. Make sure tank valve is open (if equipped), remove fuel line from carb and carefully have someone turn engine over, if you get a good stream coming from line you know pump is good, then you know problem is in carburetor. Hope this helps.

technically it is possible to do a heart trnasplant
all you need to check are the mounting flange holes or be able to drill new holes in the mower frame
and next the method of attaching the drive pulley or pto to the crank shaft has to be considered

you could have a weak coil and misfiring under a load each cylinder has it own coil on that engine you can get a inline spark tester to see

if engine is briggs use briggs sae 30 oil also change out filter use briggs black std oil filter or yellow filter if els version

if engine is kohler use kohler 10w/ 30 oil and use kohler oil filter

if its honda use 20w/50 oil and use honda oil filter

if its kawasaki use 20w/50 and use kawasaki oil filter

Lowes sells air filters for Kohler engines . As far as the oil a SEA 30 or 10w 30 would be fine.
