Go into the settings menu and find the lock setting put in the code usually 0000 and then unlock.

On Siemens washing machine to deactivate child lock set program to Easy-Care and hold option down arrow for 5 seconds.

Most likely the 'interlock' which prevents the door from opening during wash has failed. This is an electrical component and probably needs to be replaced...Not a big job for a tech...Good luck...Nomess

This is a major control fault within the chip set on the main control board. replacing this damaged control will fix this issue you are having at this time.
