The rectangle shows that the unit is sensing or it is in wrinkle control mode, check to see that wrinkle control is off, otherwise the dryer will restart itself intermittently.

Mirror lock up

Turn it off the green rectangle setting and see if it still does this (for example, turn the mode dial to P instead). If it stops doing that, then the flash up shaft in the top cover is bent. If it still does, then either the phase switch on the bottom of the mirror box needs to be cleaned, the shaft the phase switch gear is on is broken (common) or the shutter has a problem.

UPDATE FOR DRIVER VER.6.14.10.4544? DELL 2400 WHEN I PLAY VLC, OR ANY OTHER VIDEO THE SCREEN SHOWS MANY FLASHING RECTANGLES

the mail problem with those dells is the video card was not very good. you can go to dell and put in the tag number and download the drivers for it and that might help. the old dell was a xp machine and it might be the only drivers you can get for that. if you have upgraded to windows 7 there are not drivers for that in w7

Have a retangle showing as the dryer ends it dry cycle. Dryer will dry but the rectangle shows up about 1 minute before dryer ends it's cycle.

I have the same problem with my dryer. I noticed this rectangle that showed up on time dry and there wasn't any code that matched this in the manual. I called samsung and they told me to flip the breaker and see if that helps. I have not tried another load, but I hope that fixed it.

1 inch of left margin left even on the self test

Try using the "manual" width calibration. With the printer on, press and hold the green button. It will flash once, then twice, e.g. the sequence:

*
* *
* * *
* * * *
* * * * *

after the 5th flash, let go of the button. The printer will begin drawing rectangles which get wider and wider. Press the green button once (don't hold it) to indicate "when" the width is appropriate. However, I found the width was best calibrated when I let the printer draw rectangles right until the edge (where it automatically stops).

Flash forced off

The Rectangles with a 'M' in it is the Multi-Burst mode. U must select 'Normal' Mode. Try this:
In the Autoshoot mode --> press menu --> Change back to 'Normal'.
You will now get rid of the rectangles with the 'M', and you can change your flash settings.
