You cannot. You will need to install a full ink cartridge for the ink which is currently depleted.
Even for just black print, even if the black ink cartridge is not empty, these days, most if not all color printers use a combination of the color inks, cyan (blue), magenta (red), and yellow with the black ink to print black and shades of gray. The printers are designed only to print with ink in all the cartridges.
Often "grayscale" is achieved by mixing some of your colors (CYM) to form composite black and gray - not necessarily just black from your black cartridge. Often there is some yellow used beneath the black -- so if you are getting a red or blue tint, it could mean something as simple as being low on yellow ink.
If your going to print in color may it be just red or blue. You really need all of the cartridges for it to work. Because for the printer to come up with those colors. It would need all three colors Cyan, Magenta and Yellow to come up with the any color, in your problem, Blue and Red.
You are more than likely out of magenta (red) ink. That printer uses a tri-color cartridge, and it has cyan (blue) magenta (red) and yellow ink. Green is blue + yellow-therefore you do have those two colors; since it will not print anything red or black you will need to replace both cartridges.
Now put out u color cartridge and take one tissue paper or toilet paper then put ink color head to paper(soft pressure).after that see u paper are inside show three color appear in paper????(red, yellow and blue).if all have means you cartridge ok if only same or no any coming out means u color ink problem need to replaced new unit.
if got all color out better u open u printer body and check are all cable u plug in back is correct or wrong position??.second u can try go to printer preferences go to find print out in color or in gray-color and change their setting to print out in color
Hello uze7, Here is the wiring match up for a 2009 Subaru Forester using the Metra 70-7552 wiring harness: NOTE: The actual harness will be listed as a Nissan harness, but has been used by Subaru since 2007. Also, I'm assuming that your Sony deck uses the standard color code. If not, you should have a manual that lists the function along with the colors. Match the wiring by function, not by color (although the colors may be the same). 2009 Subaru Forester Radio Wiring Color Code: Battery BLUE/RED (+) RADIO HARNESS Accessory YELLOW/RED (+) RADIO HARNESS Ground BLACK (-) RADIO HARNESS Illumination VIOLET (+) RADIO HARNESS Dimmer BLACK/WHITE (-) RADIO HARNESS Power Antenna YELLOW/BLACK (+) RADIO HARNESS LF Speaker (+) BROWN LF Speaker (-) BROWN/WHITE RF Speaker (+) BLUE/WHITE RF Speaker (-) BLUE/YELLOW LR Speaker (+) WHITE/BLACK LR Speaker (-) RED/YELLOW RR Speaker (+) GRAY RR Speaker (-) GRAY/RED Metra Harness: Yellow ? 12V Constant Red ? 12V Accessory Black - Ground Orange ? Sounds like the machine needs to be cleaned. Probably a heavy use machine that has quite a bit of ink spray build up on the inside. I would imagine your service station has quite a bit of ink build up in it as well possibly causing the cartridges not to be cleaned like they should. A good cleaning cures most of what ails inkjet printers. We would charge $85 in our shop for complete disassembly down to the metal frame and cleaning.
