Does the light stay on when charged cb-2lx

Most of the charger will support 110v / 220v automatically. Look at the label on the back of the charger to verify that.

before I give you an answer is it just coming on and going off or is it staying on? you have the wx channel on that radio and when it receives power from any device to the radio the wx channel will come on and turn off immediately.Nothing wrong with the radio it is just a pain in the rear ,thats all.

Yes the light will stay on and change when you key the mic

If the battery gets warm after being in the charger a while and still is not charged, then the battery is bad
if the battery stays cool in the charger then the charger may be bad
Chargers usually have a light code, I.E. on means charged, slow flashing means charging, and a quick blinking means bad battery
Some chargers have 3 lights and the code should be imprinted on the charger.

Sounds to me like your finals in the rig have blown stopping you using the CB mode, Either that or you have a loose connection on the power output inside the radio.
