The screan is too dark while I am watching tv

If a conventional picture tube type set it will have a high voltage transformer inside with a focus and "screen" control--in this case the screen needs to be adjusted up slightly.

Adjustment is inside the set so you have to have back off and be careful as high voltage is present when set is on (need it on to adjust the screen control just up a tiny bit).

Screen dark when i turn it on

try adjusting the contrast of ur screen. There is an Fn button in blue and contrast key in blue also. Press the Fn key and the contrast key together till u get the the darkness u want.

If this does not work, u need to get a technical guy to check the connection of ur display or u might need to replace ur display.

Tv has died

When the TV is on, if you look at the screen and can see dark images, then you will need to replace both the inverters. The inverters drive/power the back light inside the LCD to show the images. You may have to try and different channels and or inputs to truly see if you can see dark images while the TV is on. If you are hearing audio from a channel or an input then you should be able to see the dark images if just the inverters are bad.
If the screen is dead black without any dark images, then typically your LCD screen/module is bad.
If the TV powers up (power supply is good), you have audio and the remote will work with the TV (the main board is good), the only parts left is the inverters or the LCD screen/module.
I can get you LG part numbers if you need them.

Light/Dark Screen

Turn on the TI 83 enter 1234
1. press the <2nd> once; press and hold the <up-arrow> until you get the numbers as dark as you want. If you let up and press the arrow key again you have turned the function off. You must start over by pressing the <2nd> key then the <up-arrow> key and hold.

2. If the numbers are too dark; press <2nd> once and hold the <down-arrow> to get it corrected.

3. If this does not correct the light/dark screen condition you need to buy new batteries!

Hope you can follow my explination.
