I have a u052 code I cleaned the head and unplug the printer it worked yesterday but the code came back can't get it to go away

Well, I don't think this is an issue with Hardware malfunction of the Printer... However, I suggest you to try few troubleshooting steps before you replace the ink cartidges for Printer.

This is recommend link of Canon .. The steps that are mentioned in the article could something work...

However, once if you are done with steps, I suggest you to contact Canon and email the issue and they can provide information on the issue.

It's most likely an after market cartridge. Try a diiferent one or get the OEM.

Dear dgthorpe,
This indicates that printhead of your printer faulty. Commonly this problem come with short circuitry problem in printhead so it may harm logic board and carriage unit too. I suggest you to try checking with another printhead first.
