Hopefully you have it under warranty. You will probably need another wire harness. Double check your outlet to make sure it is grounded properly because they will 'nit pick' and tell you it is your fault for not having a properly grounded outlet.

SOURCE: The drum wont hold water. it goes right out the draim

The drain needs to be above the actual water level or it will run out, the pvc should be above this point in order for the hose to get air and not act like trap and run out all that comes in,< woud suggest going to hardware store and getting piece to add on to 4 inch section with a coupler and washer drain cap>. they will cut to length, < take measurement of pipe size and length needed to get just bellow height of washer top, pvc goes together by cleaning and glueing, if the 4 inch piece has angle cut then it will have to be cut to strait line for good seal.

Unlocking your washer so it actually works.

If the green cycle light is flashing on then off, this usually means the cycle is paused. The lid lock should unlock when in pause mode, if not you will need to press and hold the "Pause/Play" button to clear the cycle completely, if there is water in the unit, it will drain first, then unlock the lid and be on standby to start a new cycle. Amana washer lid lock wont quit blinking

Your washer lid lock button is locked and lid was not put down before it locked, which is why the light is flashing. Therefore, push the "START" button until you see the lid lock button is off (Approx 3 seconds). Once it is off, then you can put the lid down and push the start button again, which will lock the lid into place. The washer will NOT drain or wash or spin unless the lid itself is in the locked position. If you were able to get the lid down and locked and it still doesn't work, then you need a technician to replace a wiring harness. However, you mentioned that the lid lock button was flashing, therefore, it stands to reason that your lid is NOT locked down.

If you have a direct drive washer made by Whirlpool, your washer transmission has what is called a neutral drain built into it. It is designed to pump water out before it starts to spin. After water has drained out, the timer has a pause in it where motor shuts off for about 5 seconds. When motor comes back on, transmission is then in gear to spin. If timer never pauses, then washer never goes in gear to spin. Timer is most likely defective.

Water Drains out as fast as it is filling

You have too much of the drain hose inside the drain line causing the water to siphen out as its coming in. Pull some of the drain hose out and secure the hose. There should only be about 8 inches or so of the hose inside the pipe.
