Sometime my printer does the same, print something and see how the black color is, if it is printing or it is the color ink that needs to replace also. i just keep printing until the ink get real light then i change them.

SOURCE: Canon PIXM iP1600 ink replacement

Each time the cartridge is removed from the printer an "empty cartridge" message appears and a blinking amber light will come on, on the printer. Holding the paper feed button down for 3-5 sec. will allow you to override the counter.

SOURCE: two black cartridges required??

The printer does recognize 2 different catridges. My understanding is that the smaller is specific to photos,
but the larger is used for everyday text and pages.
I would get the cartridge and then wait to see if the printer
won't print photos when small cardtridge is out. If it does
print, pictures may not be good enough for you.

You have to look online for the canon tool to reset the ink counters. When you refill these cartridges you have to run this program in order to re-use the cartridges.

SOURCE: replaced ink cartridge and it still says low ink

There is no way to reset the ink levels on this type of cartridge. Therefore, your printer will always think refills are empty. You can choose on the dialogue box to "ignore ink levels" and run the cartridge until it is empty. This is just one thing you will need to deal with on refills of this cartridge type.

Canon mx330 how to change ink cartridges

Use the thumb drill to literally drill a hole into the side of the old cartridge. Make sure to chose a location that's closer to the top of the ink cartridge to avoid over spillage when you add the new ink. Once you have the hole just squeeze in some ink of corresponding color into the hole. Not a huge amount, but enough to get some use out of it before the next refill. I highly recommend covering the hole afterward with a sticker or something so that you don't dry out the cartride. Reinsert the cartridge into the printer and use. (: All set!

*Note: You may have to reset the count on the cartridge to avoid getting messages that the ink need to be changed. From here on in, use your eyes to determine if the cartridge needs a refill (:

I have a cannon printer mx330, i do not know where to find the cartridge, because it is out ink

The cartridge carrier can be accessed by lifting the top front (**** shell) of the printer.
You can download a manual for your MX330 from

See page labeled "replacing the fine cartridge".

Cant get my canon mx330 printer to work

Multifunction devices usually require two separate inks to acquire functionalities. For example, an empty ink cartridge especially the color ink may still produce copies without multi ink features. However, any attempts to dismaunt the ink cartridges would require restorations from the computer settings. First, inspect the printer for empty accessories that require replacements. After acquiring and replacing ink cartridges makes way for the next processes. Second, connecting the printer that has been restablished would produce display results requesting printer copy allignments. Attempt to print a document to produce the results for alligments. How do I change the ink on the Cannon MX330? I cant find where the cartridge is

I am writing this to enquire in regards to Canon Pixma MX320. I bought a Canon Pixma MX320 about 3 weeks ago, and I have brought it over to overseas. I am wondering if it is possible to change from the general ink cartridge that this particular printer use, which is PG510 and CL511 to another similar ink cartridge, which is PG810 and CL811. This is because, where I am living right now, doesn't have the particular Canon Pixma MX320, but instead Canon Pixma MX328 and MX338. The Canon Pixma MX328 and MX338 uses the PG810 and CL811. So, is it possible to substitute from PG510 to PG810 and CL511 to CL811 for Canon Pixma MX320? Thank you for your help.
