But it you may be better of by buying new TV
those boards run over $300.00.

Vizio have a parts distributor- Vance Baldwin you may give them a call, or call Vizio to find out if they have anybody else.
I would bet that the power supply for the LCD is sending too much power. There is nothing you can do to fix that, but replace the screen, or the motherboard.
The only real cure will be to clean the video head. If that doesn't work then I'm afraid that whatever recorded you EP mode tape was not set up well tracking wise. So other machines struggle to track the tape. Some VCR's will only playback SP or LP tapes and don't have EP mode. In which case you should check to see if these VCR's can play the EP tape and if they can't find one that can.
hi yes it could be the power suply but if you had a light gray horizontal bar in lower part of the screen before it went out this spell big problem other wise it maybe only power suply that can be bought on ebay
