Why is there water standing in the bottom of my dishwasher after it has completed the wash and dry cycles.......

If water remains in the dishwasher after the cycles end, check the kitchen sink drain to make sure it's not clogged. If there's no clog, try pressing the Cancel button; most dishwashers run the drain pump when the Cancel button is pressed.
Check the dishwasher drain line, drain path and drain pump.

Water is not drained from the tub when washing of the dishes is complete

The filter is probably blocked.

It is inside the base of the machine.

Take out the filter and clean it and also clean out the filter well as that can also hold quite a bit of debris.

GET ERROR CODE f-2, AND IT WONT DRAIN THE WATER kENMORE ELITE hE3T

It is a code for a long drain problem (more than eight minutes). Press the Pause/Cancel button twice to clear the display. When the display is clear, press the Drain & Spin button then select No Spin by pressing the Spin Speed button, and then press and hold the Start button to start draining the water.

Use your senses to check whether the drain pump is running or not. The drain pump is located at the front right bottom of the machine. Check the volume of water being discharged to the drainage.

Disconnect power to the washer and check the drain hose for clogs and kinks, and then repeat the No Spin draining process, if the drain pump is running and water is being pumped out, until the water is completely drained out of the washer. Just press the Pause/Cancel button twice when the code appears to clear the display and restart draining.

Make sure the drain hose is raised no more than eight feet above the floor where the washer is installed. The drain pump cannot pump the water properly out to the drainage more than eight feet above the floor.

When draining is complete, empty the machine then prop up the bottom front edge of the washer to allow easy access to the three screws attaching the lower front access panel to the cabinet. Remove the screws, and then push the panel down and off the cabinet to access the drain pump.

Place a shallow pan or lay a towel under the filter to catch the water from the pump. Unscrew the filter from the pump assembly and drain the water. Clean the filter for any debris that might be causing the pump to work poorly then screw it back in place.

Slide the lower front access panel up back into the cabinet and secure it the three screws.

Bosch Dishwasher won't drain, cancel drain lights blink

when you said "I can run a wash", does the machine act normal for that time frame up to the point of drain? if yes, the pump is fine. sounds more like the micro chip on the board is "confused", but not sure why.
