My VPN connection stopped working with my Lenovo. It works with my Dell. I think I have something turned off.
You have to have your wirless going or a conecion first to internet for a VPN to work,,, start with your internet conection then your wireless connection. if they are fine and you still can't connect 1. vpn softare is corrupt. 2. setting in vpn on your laptop got changed 3. turn your caps off , for singing into vpn 4. unlock your keyboard number pad there really isn't much ona keyboard.

Just above my keyboard there is a little black strip with little lights.
they are control buttons and if you tap one of them it turns the touchpad off and on (so it's very easy to do accidentally).
If you look really closely at the strip in good light (or restart the laptop to see them flash on and off) you'll see that one looks like a touchpad crossed out. Just press this to get your touchpad back.
If it doesnt solve the problem, I have noticed that the touchpad can be knocked out by a Window Update of something called ideacom. If you believe this could be the problem please clarify.

Since you do not specify the model number for your HP laptop one cannot be too specific. On my Toshiba laptop activation and deactivation of the touch pad is enacted by pressing the Fn-F9 sequence.
The actual Function key to press after the Fn key might have the picture of a touch pad on it. Examine tour laptop keyboard.

hi,
try o press and hold Fn Esc,that will allow you to enablrd/disabled the camera capability,if nothing happens, try to download the driver from this website,consumersupport.lenovo.com, type the serial no and look for the camera drier and the designated Operating System and for the bit as well,if its a 32bit or 64bit... for the keyboard, try to do a system restore from the time that the keyboard is properly working,if nothing happens, obviously, its a hardware problem and you need to contact lenovo for keybaord replacement
