How to disarm Fujinon SRD-92B Zoom Rate Demand

Remove end plate. Remove rate control knob and pot. Loosen up three set screws on housing, center zoom control, and slide entire assembly out the end of the housing. Where will you find a replacement spring?

Kodak carousel 650h will not advance or go back. Not mechanically jammed. Doesn't respond to buttons either on main housing or from remote. Select button, fan and lamp all ok.

If the select button functions correctly, then it sounds like you have a wire broken or a wire nut that holds a bundle of wires together has fallen off. If it was the solenoid link, then the Select function would not work. After removing the bottom cover, look for the orange wires, That is the cycle circuit. Look for a broken or unattached orange wire from the side button and the remote receptacle.
The other possibility is that the direction lever is stuck, bound up or the direction lever spring is broken. The attached image of the top plate of the slide change mechanism will show you the end of the direction lever. It should move freely, up & down on its center pivot. You should see a small, wire spring, about 2-3 inches long on the lever. If the spring is not there, or the lever does not move freely, that may be the cause of no forward or reverse.

Shifter lever won't return to the " center " position always. The problem is intermittent and seems to occur more in the heat. I've heard there may be something binding the mechanism....

Follow the shifter reach rod that runs from the shift lever back to a short lever on the transmission. Take the nut off and take the rod loose from this short lever. Then, move the forward like you are going to shift into low gear but don't actually shift the transmission into gear. Feel for the spring tension. Then, move the lever backwards and feel for the spring tension there. Check the shift lever and the reach rod for binding. If you don't feel the spring tension trying to return the lever back to the center, it's likely that the shifter pawl return spring is broken. This spring is what returns the shifter lever back to 'center". But,the temperature of the transmission will not change this. If the spring is broken, it's broken cold or hot. If the spring is good and there is not bind in the linkage, the problem may be in the shifter cam mechanism inside the transmission. Either way, this is an internal issue in the transmission.

Good Luck

Zoom in and zoom out button loose

That's the internal spring that breaks in that switch. The switch will still work but it will not spring back to the center. You can get the part at www.camerasandparts.com or you can have them service it at the same time they replace the spring. Hopefully that will get you in the right direction, they're excellent if you need help with a Powershot since that is all they specialize in are the parts and repairs of these cameras. I wish you luck with the issue.

The zoom lever is not working moves but doesnt change

If the zoom lever is not working then I would recommend buying a new pair without a zooming mechanism. Zoom binoculars are more trouble than they are worth. Sorry!

IMy Zoom disk brakes don't work

Seems like a full strip down and clean, using an aerosol based brake cleaner ,parts must be immaculately clean ,and worth a new seal kit because you have it stripped down .

Zoom lever sticks

Hi, the only reason the zoom lever sticks is dirt. Either dust or some sort of liquid may have spilled on the camera. If you wipe it off, it does not help as the liquid gets into the zoom lever mechanism. It will have to strippd and cleaned.

Zoom lever (Olympus Camedia C-8080 Wide Zoom Digital Camera ) does not work

If you can get to the ribbon cable that the zoom lever is attached to, you can use a multimeter or a continuity tester to see if the lever is actually shorting any traces on the ribbon. the zoom lever acts upon a motor that rotates the iner lens barrel, possible the motor lead is open or the switch under the lever is dirty/faulty.
