I have a wireless router which beams internet to my wireless devices .How can i use my airtel dongle ce0682 to work as wireless adapter to connect my desktop to wireless router for internet access?
Yes definitely ,I think i need lots more information about router version, IEEE standard.
basically adapter that uses mobile phone networks to provide broadband as a WiFi Dongle while USB WiFi adapter can be used to connect your PC to and existing wirless network provided by a wireless router.
but first you should find out what kind of Internet router you are using and always purchase a Wi-Fi adapter that is compatible with the Wi-Fi standard of your wireless router.

Try the internet using an ethernet cable and if it works fine the trouble is either with the wireless router or with the computer of laptop wireless adapter.
If you can connect a smartphone or tablet to the wireless router the problem will be with your computer. You can try ensuring the wireless aqdaptor drivers are properly installed by using the device manager and troubleshooting from there. In the case of a wireless dongle it would be worth uninstalling the drivers and reinstalling them.
As far as I know there is only one Luxor TV model that has Internet access (Smart TV) and it comes with a wireless adapter/dongle. Plug the dongle in the USB port of the TV set and follow the instructions in the user guide on how to set up a network connection. Usually, from your remote, go to Menu, Settings and then to Set Up Network Connection. Please be aware that you need to have a wireless modem/router for your home network in order to be able to connect your TV to the internet.
Sometimes these types of issues are difficult to troubleshoot remotely (in this case, you've got 4 potential points to address: TV, dongle, router and ISP.)
If your TV and/or dongle utilize specific ports outside of the "norm," you may need to manually configure your router to allow for this.
Depending on the distance your AP/router is from the TV/dongle, the signal may not be strong enough. (Or, the signal coming from the AP may be present--you can confirm this with another wireless device--and maybe it's just the dongle itself has a poor range.)
Also, the dongle itself may be defective. Generally, there issome form of configuration that needs to be done, one way or the other, either on the computer, or on the TV itself (like a setup option).
Most likely, it's not an ISP-related issue.
Also, try to contact Sharp Technical support. They should be able to give you some recommendations that may prove helpful.
If all else fails, see if you can track down one of the dongles listed as being compatible in the TV manual, or find a dongle that's advertised as being compatible with your specific television, as that might be your best bet.
bluetooth does not connect to the internet, it connects to other bluetooth devices such as bluetooth mobile phones. the network cable shows unplugged if there is no cable plugged into it and going into your internet router
If your wireless connection drops ,it means you need to changed channel number of router for that you need to login to router
please follow steps to login to router
1. Open a web browser (Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox or Safari). 2. Access the router, usually by typing 'http://192.168.1.1' or 'http://www.routerlogin.com' in the address bar. 3. Login to the router with the Username as "admin" and Password as "password" (please note that the Username and Password are case sensitive). 4. Click on Wireless Settings'(under Setup) from the left menu. now you would be able to changed channel on router
and check connection
Make sure you can go online directly to the airtel broadband. If internet works fine, connect the D-Link router to the Beetle. That should be going to the Internet port or WAN port of the D-link. Then your PC to port 1. Try to power cycle both devices now. Unplug the power to the router first then to the modem. Wait for 30 seconds. Power on modem first, wait for the lights to go solid, then power on the router. Check if the internet works fine hardwired. If it is, wireless should work as well. Just connect to the signal coming from the D-link.
if the router is already set up the usb dongle software will need to be used to connect to the router to allow a connection without the need for a cable as the dongle will see the wireless signal
