Boot order require boot order

When the machine are start to boot press F2 before start windows, That is the setup of the Bios and there you can change the boot order

this could be a software fault requiring repair of windows oerating system using the windows installation cd or it could be a more serious problem of a broken hard drive which will need a new one.
before this check the boot order of your system by preesing f8 or f12 or entering setup and looking in the bios at the boot order. if it is wrong set to boot from hard drive.

Boot hp pavillon zd8000 with usb is possible.simply plug the USB flash drive with iso and reboot, then press F10 navigeyt Boot Order Mark hard drive, hit enter, Highlight your usb and press F6 so usb was on top of the press F10

Once you see a prompt that says press any key to contintue to boot to cd press the Enter Key Once
When you have a prompt that says welcome to windows press R to Repair press F3 to quit and press Enter to create a fresh new copy of windows.

Follow any prompts as required and when you have finished don't forget to change the BIOS boot order, back to as it was.

There you have it, a fresh operating system. All it may need now is the drivers installing and the software re installing.

This is caused by your BIOS not finding a valid boot device. Most of the time this means your hard drive has failed. It could also be caused if someone has changed the boot order.

Your bios has a preset order in which it will attempt to find a valid device that contains an operating system. Normally it will go like this:

1. Cdrom
2. Removable (USB,ect)
3. Hard Drive
4. Network

Your BIOS will try each of these devices in that order until it finds a device that will boot. Normally it ends with network boot and since you do not have a network boot server you will get the error you are seeing.

So to sum it up check your BIOS boot order and your hard drive for any problems.

Ensure the CD drive is set as the 1st boot device in the BIOS. Try F2 or Delete key immedietely on startup a few times until it enters the BIOS. Chnge the order there to CD first. Save and exit. Boot with CD, no F* key required.

put the bootable xp cd in your cd rom then turn it on. it will boot up automatically if the cd will be bootable and your boot sequence is correct.

RAM disk requires actual memory in order to create a 'virtual' drive. My first instinct would be to check to ensure that RAM is actually available. Perhaps memory is faulty or configured improperly.
