RED LIGHT IS ON DELL PRINTER1130

  • A minor error has occurred and the machine is waiting for the error to be cleared. When the problem is cleared, the machine resumes.
  • Small amount of toner is left in the cartridge. The estimated cartridge life of toner is close. Prepare a new cartridge for replacement. You may temporarily increase the printing quality by redistributing the toner.
If you have a new genuine toner cartridge, try resetting:
With the power on and cartridge door open, press and hold the Cancel button until all lights flash in sequence. Release the button and close the door.

All lights are flashing. Tried turning the printer off. tried resetting. Checked that the doors are closed, cartridge in all the way.

    Hi,
Try resetting the printer to factory Defaults. First turn off the printer, then open the front cover like if you were to take the toner cartridge2_bing.gif out. Once the front cover is open then push and hold the two buttons on the panel of the printer and turn the printer on. Make sure the front cover is open and that you are pushing the two buttons all the lights will flash2_bing.gif and they will stop at the very bottom light and stay solid once that happens let go of the buttons and close the cover and that should reset the printer. If that does not fix the problem then it could be something wrong with the Controller Board and will probably need to be replaced.

    5) Close the product doors
    6) If you receive a recalibration message, allow the printer to complete this task

Error on LCD: Close door and press enter. Latch Carriage.

This error comes when the cartridges are not installed properly or when the cartridge door is not closed properly. Once remove the cartridges from the all-in-one and reinstall them again in the all-in-one and close the door firmly and check for the result. If the issue persists power cycle the all-in-one and then reset the all-in-one.
