Dog Problem My sisters dog ate threw the cord on my labtec speaker system, speaker. The base box works fine, I was wondering if I could get that repair and the cost, or buy a replacement

It takes a lot of chocolate. Different chocolate has different amounts.

Is the new cord/charger/transformer the EXACT same power specs? When your "dog ate your charger", it may have shorted out something in the Laptop? Was it plugged it when your dog ate it?

To buy a new one try Replacement Remotes. Go to link and search for the model number of your speaker system. And if they have it, it will show for purchase.

so cut repair and tape and fix if its near water side use silicon make sure dosent hit water

You can replace your cord that was eaten by your dog very easy.
Disassemble your fan.
Be sure to mark how the fan is assembled with an awl or sharp instrument to scratch an alignment scratch on the outside of the motor case before you disassemble it....maybe even take a picture
Once you have the fan disassembled to the point that you can get to where the wire that was chewed is connected to the fan, you will disconnect the wires from the plugs,sockets,etc...take another picture before disassembly.
Take the old cord with you down to your local hardware store,loews,homedepot,ace hardware,etc.
Tell the person in the electrical dept what happened, and he will fix you up with a new set up.
Come home install the new cord and plug...keep away from dog...

I guess it depends how far up the cord your dog ate through it! You could cut the cord off at the bite, fit a new plug and use an extension cord to reach the socket. Other than that, I don't think its an expensive job to get a complete new cord fitted - depending on the repairer, it should still be cheaper than a replacement tv

you have to take the machine completely apart and get inside where the motor is.take the cover off there are 3 screws 2 on the left side behind the hose and 1 on the right side back by the wheel.that will take the covr off.now where the upright sets on the base you will see a ******** each side of the motor, take those off,that will seperate the upright from the base.now you have to open the motor housing,there are 4 screws 2 on the front side and 2 on the bach side that will expose the motor and the cord.take out the old cord and splice in the new one.then put it all back together in reverse of how you took it apart.please leave feedback
