Check your drivers at Driver Detective
If your computer does not recognize the printer, try going into your printers in the control panel and go to add printer and see if it finds it.

  • Anonymous May 20, 2009

If this is a secured network then you have to be administrator, go in and authorize the router to accept the printer. This usally requires a password key. Then you should be good to go

  • Anonymous May 20, 2009

If you have set your router up with a password, you will need to reinstall the router software back on your computer and then add the printer to your network, or change your network to unsecured so it will recognize the printer.

You cannot do it thru network con wiz, if you have your router set up with a passwork or encryption key.

My D-Link DSL 2640U modem is working through cable but not wifi

Hello,

You could probably log into the router interface and chnage the wireless settings and re-name the network. This might work.

Hope this helped.

I have a WIFI and I heard that I can connect my HP OFFICEJET 5610 ALL IN ONE into wireless using my WIFI connection. Please assist me. Thanks a lot, Toha ****

hi tohafaniwang
the HP OFFICEJET 5610 doesn't have an internal wireless adaptor therefore you would not be able to connect it wirelessly to your wifi network. Although there is an option to get a wireless LAN routher/printserver wherein you would connect the printer to the wifi print server/router using the usb 2.0 cable. using this you would be able to setup that all that connects to your wifi network would be able to print to your printer.

Hope this helps

Print from nokia E63 through WIFI

Try connecting your printer directly to the wifi router/switch in a shared network configuration. Then go to your router settings, find the local ip address add this as the 'host'. Your settings should be as follows:

Driver : HP Mobile Printing
Bearer: Socket/HP Jetdirect
Access Piont: My Home Wifi (kaba)
Host : ip address of you printer
user : Blank ( tried my windows username,no use)
port : 9100
Printer Model: Officejet Printers

You will have to reconfigure your drivers on your pc as well. Mine installed as a wireless shared printer even though the printer is not wireless but I have it connected to my wifi switch for sharing and it worked fine.

Good luck
