I have a leak in the pumped water return fitting at the tub. Appears to be a cracked fitting or bad joint. Anyway to replace that? It's all glued in place.
The suction cover will come off the wall fitting either by removing the screw(s) or by unthreading counter clockwise.
Once the cover is removed you can then access the wall fitting which sounds to me as if it may be broken. If you remove the wall fitting you need to put a small bead of 100% RTF silicone around the lip of the wall fitting before you thread it back into the fitting behind the tub.
Once you tighten that wall fitting up you can clean up any excess silicone mess with denatured alcohol.

Testimonial: "Rod, Thanks for the advice. I did get the suction cover unsealed from the tub wall, however, it seems that all piping parts are glued together, even the threaded ones. (I've got good plumbing experience, and this piece is visibly glued). I've also checked it with a light and can see now cracks/leaks. What are the chances that it was leaking around the tub wall seal, and if I just use the 100% RTF silicone I can seal it (properly) back into place?"

you can use a scissor cutter or a utility knife and make a nice square cut in the hose. After replacing the nut, hopefully you can find one, you can get a pvc coupling, the hose is the same size as pvc pipe, and use pvc glue to reattach the 2 ends back together. Use Oatey Rain-N-Shine glue....it is in a light blue can and the actual color of the glue is blue.
Testimonial: "thanks, but due to space constraints n the amout of hose attaxhed (3) I will try to use the existing nut by wrapping with a hose clamp to keeping it "
