Just need to know how to hook up proper for stereo sound

Hello im just trying to find out some basic info on some computer speakers, they are the ACS50 amplified speaker system i need to find ether a manual or find some one who know how to properly connect to get stereo.

Start with the right speaker, that is you control for now. plug in the power supply one end to the wall the other to the right speaker, connect the left and right speakers, connect the sub woofer to the right speaker, (most of the plug and sockets are color coded, or at least different sockets sizes so they will only fit properly with the correct connector) now you should have one wire left coming out of the right speaker-that gets connected into the GREEN socket of you computer.
Now you should get sound...good it works.
From here we go to START->SETTINGS->CONTROL PANEL->RIGHT CLICK ON SOUND AND AUDIO DEVICES->VOLUME TAB->ADVANCE (TO THE RIGHT OF SPEAKER VOLUME->SPEAKER SETUP->FOR THE DROP DOWN ARROW SELECT DESKTOP STEREO SPEAKER->APPLY->OK
And that my friend is properly done.

You can find the wiring diagram for your BMW on newtis.info website. Use that to solve the speaker wiring problem.

I Hooked up my new stereo and cant get any sound. I put the factory Bose back in and the sound works. Hooked up my new stereo to another car and it has sound. Can anyone tell me Why im not getting sound...
If you had a "Bose" sound system - Factory installed - it should have and Amplified System - which means the original stereo will supply power to the Speaker Amps - that is the circuit that didn't get connected and why there is no sound.

For surround sound, you need an A/V receiver with 5.1 or 7.1 surround capability. Depending on what kind of receiver you have, the DVD player, satellite/cable box, etc hooks to the receiver, those signals go out to the TV, and the speakers hook to the receiver. The receiver decodes the signal from the cable/satellite box or DVD player and routes it to the appropriate speakers. If the TV program or DVD isn't HD or coded for surround sound, the best you can expect is 2.1 channel stereo sound. OR, you can hook everything (DVD, satellite/cable box) to the TV and run an optical cable from the Digital Output of the TV to the receiver, which is basically the same thing, just a different way to hook everything up. Hooked the stereo up and got power to but no sound coming out speakers but i try home speaker it work so what did i do wrong ?
if im understanding correctly what you wrote. you hooked up the headunit to the car and no sound from speakers, then you hooked up a single house speaker up and that speaker works fine. the Ohms on the car speakers might be too high, but most likely sounds like the wires to the speakers are bad.

I have a 95 nissan maxima i am trying to replace stock radio(bose) w/a new cd player but once its hooked up im not hearing any sound? whats wrong with it?
Most Bose car stereos have an external amplifier. You will need to see if that is the case on your factory setup and remove the amplifier. Then hook the new headunit straight to the speakers.

How ot hook up speakers on this amp/
As far as I know, your sound will drastically improve if you run them +- and +-. Connect the one speaker correctly (+-) and then with the music still playing, try swapping the wires on the other speaker around and see which sounds better + to + or + to -

Make sure the speakers are hooked up properly and also that the sound card drivers are installed, you can verify this by going into the device manager. The main speaker wire has to be hooked up to the output of the computer sound card.

If the sound card drivers are installed and the speakers are hooked up properly and your still not getting sound, try the speakers on another computer that you know has sound. If the speakers work then its a sound card driver issue on the original computer. If the speakers don't work on another computer then you know the speakers are bad.

You gots ta isolate the problem.  Disconnect the speakers and hook them up to a stereo you know that works.  If you don't hear sound coming out of the speakers, then you know the speakers are fu.k.d up, so you need to look on the speakers to see if there is a fuse that is blown that needs to be replaced.  If you got sound coming through, then disconnect them and hook them back to the original stereo making sure you got a good connection and all the wires are in good and tight.  Then turn your stereo on and go through the various channels like Tuner, Tape Deck, Aux, and DVD to see if you get any sound.  Also turn the volume knob up. If you don't get any sound after all this, you know there is something wrong with the stereo your using.

Im tryin to hook my speakers to my computer
I don't have a picture to show you but will tell you the easiest way.
There is a cable that has headphone jack on one end and two rca jacks on other end. The headphone jack goes to computer and the rca jacks go to your stereos input jacks. Then turn on your stereo and set it to the input setting. That is all there is to it.
