Moves erradically on screen

replace the batteries or get a new mouse

Don't throw the batteries away without testing them.. If they are good reinsert them and check if the problem is resolved. I no longer bother with the battery check, poor mouse response happens when the battery is low. I just pop out one battery and reinsert it. It never takes more than twice to make it behave :)

try using another surface when moving the mouse

try installing drivers from the site maybe threre is a new firmware

just open ur mouse
and clean it with cotten
and u will never got thsame problem.....

hi, ok go into control panel,printers and other hardware-mouse -slow the pointer speed a notch at a time. this should help. good luck,glen

I get the same thing from a optical with cord.

Change the pointer speed. Look in Start > Control Panel > Mouse > Pointer Options.

Try using a different Mouse Pad or surface. This is a cause of jerky and erratic mouse movement.

Take a q-tip and wipe the optical lens being careful not to apply pressure against the lens. This may or not help. Worth a try. Bud
