Toshiba washing machine model AW-DUJ1700 turns on, beeps with error code "EL" then shuts down within 5 seconds.

An LE error code on the washer's display indicates that the motor is locked, possibly due to a heavy wash load. Large and heavy sized loads will put a strain on the motor, causing the LE code to occur. Performing a reset on the washer will normally resolve this error with a reduced load size.

What is an E3 code on a Culligan Medalist Series?

https://www.manualslib.com/manual/859287/Culligan-Medallist-Series.html?page=8

Quoting from link to free manual shown:

FAILURE MODE
There are certain conditions that can be interpreted by the circuit board as a failure of the drive motor or motor
position switch. Upon failure detection the control will cease further operation. A telephone hand set symbol will be
shown in the upper left corner of the display and the error code will be shown. Listed below are the different error
codes.
1. Motor Always Turning
Error code "E1" occurs when the circuit board detects changes in the motor program switch when the motor is
not supposed to be turning. The phone icon and "E1" will be lit in the display.
2. Motor Never Turns
The Culligan Medallist Series control is equipped to detect no change in the motor position when the motor is
supposed to be turning (motor or piston locked in a frozen position). The AccuSoft circuit board will apply
power to the motor for 20 seconds. If there is no change in the motor homing or position switch, the control will
power down for 1 minute. The circuit board will repeat this procedure two more times in an attempt to remove the
obstruction. If no movement has been detected, the control will permanently power down and a phone icon and
an "E2" will appear in the display.
3. Homing Error
Error code "E3" occurs when the circuit board detects when the control is unexpectedly in the home position.
The phone icon and "E3" will be lit in the display.
Error Display Cancellation
The error code display can be removed by removing the power to the control for 1 minute. After clearing an error
condition, the control will default to the factory settings when power is restored.

Oil light and motor icon light

It is common for many models to track when the last service was acknowledged in the ECU. This could be a simple service light or it could be an error on the computer - a scanner (mechanic) can check for any errors on the ECU.

All key pad works, except to clean oven. It double beep sound and nothing happens.

Hi Carol.

First make sure that you are performing clean procedure correctly. If you press both bake and broil and then self clean, then instead of self clean the oven will go in child lock beeping twice. Two beeps may also be result of incorrect temp calibration. Perform calibration as suggested in the extract from service manual below:

10_11_2011_1_11_07_pm.gif

Before starting the self clean cycle the electronic control (ERC) performs checkout of door latch and temperature sensor, lock motor is activated and both relay for bake and broil start the cleaning cycle. If one of the conditions is not met the electronic control will beep and you may get an error code.

Make sure that both bake and broil are working. If one of the two functions is not working, then one of the relays in the power board is likely faulty: If the oven is not heating at all , then problem is usually the oven sensor.

If the rest is working the problem can be the door lock motor. The relay board and control module may also be causing the problem. The oven must be tested.

This GE range is mostly electronic. Testing is mostly done following the diagnostic procedures suggested in the technical repair manual.

The first procedure is error code reading (user level). This consists in reading the error codes stored in the oven electronic control (AKA ERC).

Here an extract from service manual showing the procedure:

10_11_2011_12_33_32_pm.gif

The procedure can be found in the Service Manual at the bottom of this document. Check page 19 of the service manual.at the bottom of this document. When performing the test look for error FF and F2, which respectively mean door latch and oven sensor problem. (codes at page 24 of service manual.

After the error code test, test individually door latch, sensor and lock motor. Perform the tests at page 22 of manual:

10_11_2011_12_48_53_pm.gif10_11_2011_12_51_11_pm.gif

10_11_2011_12_52_43_pm.gif

If the test does not return any error, then the door latch and motor must be tested manually as explained at page 21 of service manual.

HERE THE COMPLETE SERVICE MANUAL IN PDF FORMAT (click to open).

Regards.

Functional Problem SC321-00

What is the actual code. Your heading says '321', then you list "320"?
"320" is the polygon (laser motor) that is defective. "321" is more likely the BICU board.
Could simply require the LD pitch adjustment be performed, depending on what else you have done. Do both the 400dpi, and 600 dpi. initial setting

Canon imageRunner 105

Hello PE. I will tell you what the code means and although we can reset the code, if the PROBLEM still exists I am afraid the code will of course return when the copier performs a diagnostic. By telling you the reason for the failure perhaps you can fix the problem and therefore MR. COPIER wont be pissed. :-) This code means that the paper supply referred to as tray "B" has a problem. The lift motor for that paper supply could not (or the copier believes it could not) successfully lift the paper to the correct paper heighth required to feed the paper. This explanation may help you correct the problem. Now to clear the code. On the operator control panel next to the nine key pad is a button that says "additional functions". That button will be part of a 3 step process. Press the the additional function button>>>> next press the numbers 2 and 8 together at the same time>>>> then back to additional functions button. This is a 1,2,3 process that should be executed in a smooth but timely fashion. This will bring up a new window on the screen. Ther will be several "blocks" on the screen and one will say COPIER. Press copier. Then a new screen appears with several tabs across the top. One of those tabs will say FUNCTION. Press function. The screen will be filled with an assortment of blocks and one will say CLEAR. Press clear, and a new set of blocks will appear. One of the new set will say ERR. Press err and then in the lower right hand corner you will say a block saying "OK". Press ok. Now unplug the machine and wait a few seconds and plug it back in.You WILL have successfully erased the error code and the machine will perform its power on diagnostic as if nothing was ever wrong. However if the problem still exists the copier will see it and the code will return. If it does, you can perform the process again but this time pull tray "B" out so the copier cannot run a diagnostic on it. This is merely a workaround and will allow you to use the copier and its remaining paper supplies. As to what specifically the problem with paper tray "B" is could be several things, all of which would require a tech to come out. I must assume that is what you are trying to avoid (as would I ....$$$$$) I hope this helps you and I wish you the best. SPINAL
