I have a Sony VPL-PX11 who after starting up the lamp, goes back in standby showing the "Lamp/Cover"-LED.

Strange is, I didnt used the projector for a few months because of this problem, and today i startet the projector again, and he worked!
Then after a standby he wouldnt get on again, showing the same problem he hab before.
That says to me that the lamp works, so I have no idea what the problem could be..

    Thanx for help.. :/

Hi there

You should first check if there is any visible damage on your lamp. If not then it could be a faulty Ballast ( lamp powersupply )
