I have a frigidaire affinity dryer that is 2 months past warrenty and of course it breaks now.
It spins in times dry when in noheat/air fluff mode. The manual said to replace the themostat and I told the repair guy to do that today to no avail and he said i may need a motherboard as the codes are not in the tech manual.
The codes are:
E9E
E4A
and now when I have done the test the code is coming up E68, but the repair guy did not get that code today.

The model number is AEQ6000ES2
I have the frigidaire front loader model aeq6000es2 and the display reads AD on it all the time---Is this just for the auto-dry function?
The thermistor in air outlet duct is very common for these. with front panel off find plastic duct from blower at bottom. pull out thermistor and look at inner side. it has triangular shape and if you can see shiny redish color at tip instead of all black then its worn. this causes numerous heat and control issues.

Hello Scott Joseph Brandt - Since you have already replaced the thermal limiter check your breaker or fuses. Some dryers are run by two separate fuses, one for power and one for heat-ours is. If it is not the power source more than likely the issue lies with your heating coil.
