DIRT BEING LEFT ON DIISHES

There are many probable causes of failure .

To clean the dishes the water temperature is essential. It the water is not hot then the dishes will not be cleaned properly. So check the water temperature.

Also check the filter in your dishwasher.

If you are in an hard water zone , then try reducing the amount of detergent used and then try cleaning the dishes.

Glasses not clean and shiny

Dishwashers have a part usually called a separator or accumulator which traps the dirt from the water during the wash cycles while the water is continuously recycled to clean the dishes. At the end of the cycle the separator is flushed out and the trapped dirt goes down the drain. If it doesn't get flushed out the dirt builds up till it starts showing up on the dishes. Some separators have a hole on top and one on bottom with a valve which stops up one hole or the other depending which cycle it's running. The valve can be stuck or broken causing the problem.

check if some dirt got in the arms of the washer as sometime this will slow the flow of water and not allow the pressure to clean the dishes well

Doesn't clean well. Leaves dirt, etc on dishes.

this is not a lack in the machine but it sounds like you are not using soap/tablets. if you are using soap switch to tablets (such as affresh) and use a rinse agent (like jet dry). good luck with this problem! hope this solution works

Loose dirt and a lot of watter won't drain when cycle completed

One possible solution to your problem could be as follows... Could have been little regular soap or something put in that made it suds up causing it not to drain. Pouring vegetable oil into the dish washer tub will remove the suds. After running vegetable oil for about 5 minutes, pour 2 cups of vinegar in to the tub and run it on the hottest longest cycle with no dishes in it. This will clean the residue out and what ever "gunk" may be in the internal parts. Use Only powder detergent. No gel and No tabs. These 2 cause a build-up over a period of time of use and reduce the performance of your machine especially in a Bosch. This should take care of your problem.

DISHES COME OUT WITH DIRT ON THEM

Your incoming water temp should be about 140 degrees. If not boost your water heater temp.
Check the dishwasher drain line. It should be tied up under the bottom of the sink to prevent sink water from backing down the drain into the DW.

Top shelf items dirtier after cleaning

After some experience with our own fdw60 with the same problem, we now put all pots and pans on the top rack. Putting them on the bottm appears to stop the clean water rinse reaching the top rack. All washes since have been ok.
