Wd865 error f01

F-01 is a failed communication of the=> Whirlpool Dryer Main Control Board W10174745 The control board has likely shorted out. Not a cheap fix but it is a fix

F-01 Error code

F-01 flashes when there is a primary control
failure. Replace the machine control electronics.

f 01 is control systemand board fault cheaper to replace

Error code F01 is indicating ashort circuit motor triac.
Check connections on motor the motor plug and then control module.

F01 is a motor faulty normally caused by the module,but sometimes thewiring to the motor plug that works loose as its to tight,give them alla good wiggle make sure there all in!

I could not find error f01 for maytag, but for for whirlpool, it means CCM(central control unit) unplug washer for 2 minutes then try it.
