Most likely a fusible link which melts as a result of overheating.

You have to take off the top remove the control panel and bottom toe panel to get at the screws for the front panel disconnect the wires for the door switch

When the dryer door is open, you should be able to find a switch (it may be just a button protruding from the cabinet). The switch turns the machine off when the door is opened. It may be damaged or worn out.

The unit is seeing a restriction in air flow disconnect the exhaust at base of machine turn to air dry or fluff you should get good air movement coming out of the exhaust I will assume the machine worked when new if flow is weak then there is lint in the blower air passage from the machine if good you will know the difference the the restriction is in the exhaust exiting the house on one occasion i did encounter a bad control if everything passes the test an dryer is operating correctly and you still have a light leave it control is not cheap for an annoying light

Check circuit breaker it will still run but not heat if part of the breaker is tripped

Easyest way is to follow the wires from the heater element, there will be two one near the heater element and one near the vent exhuast.

Chris an F-20 is usually a clogged filter on duet washers. Did you go by the tech sheet in your machine? It gives the codes and remedys and is in a jacket behind the kickplate which you remove to get to the filter. You will need a quarter inch nutdriver to gain access.
