It is not likely you will get a CD unless you happen to find one for sale, ie eBay, but you may be able to at least download a copy of the manual.

Put your card and select touch screen embroidery mood then you can see the designs. Design should be loaded to the card through customizer and CF card size to 1GB or less.

best solution would be to go on ebay and buy a usb floppy drive, that way you can still use and open the floppies. either that or buy the floppy drive and fit it into the computer.

most laptops and desktops support usb floppy drives

If you have the software CD that came with the machine, the manual is on it.
The following paragraph is from Singer's Customer Service page:

• Is there a more extensive manual for the Futura™? Yes. With the basic Futura™ CD in the D drive, open up Windows Explore, by right clicking on the START button on the bottom tool bar. Left click on the drive and the contents of the CD will appear on the right side of the screen. Among the folders listed will be the Manual. Double left click on the icon. The manual is 92 pages and explains in detail all of the programs functions.
  

However if you have lost that CD, the Singer Asia Pacific site provides only accessory software CDs for purchase. You can try e-mailing Singer customer service in the form provided to see if they have the original CD in stock; otherwise you can purchase the tutorial CD.

I originally thought I was having problems downloading the software but it turned out that I received the CD with the extras (Autopunch, autofont, etc.) and not the basic installation software. While talking with Customer Service at Singer about my installation problem, they realized I had the wrong CD. They sent me the installation hardware. I had to send them a copy of my invoice for the sewing machine I purchased. Contact them at 1-800-4Singer or www.singerco.com for customer support. They were really great to work with.

You need to have Customizer og Digitizer pro to send design by cable to you MC10001.

You can also use a PCMCIA adapter in your MC10001 and a CF memorycard..you also need a memorycard reader to write to your CF card from your computer
