No milk,or steam coming from cappucinno nozzle

I have just done a de-scale and clean of my Impressa Z5 machine. i re-assembled the cappy nozzle and when I press the milk button, the machine makes the thump thump noise that it should before the milk comes from the nozzle but nothing happens - no milk, no steam!

If you pull the cappacino component off. The black plastic thing at the end of the metal tube (where the cappacino component's attached to) can be unscrewed by rotating it with your hand. You can clean it with a brush and a thick needle to clean the hole the make sure that it's not blocked. After that just screw it back on and reattach the cappacino component.

We have managed to fix the problem. The metal nozzle from the machine to the cappy nozzle had a blockage which my husband managed to free, so all fine now.

Milk does not come out

remove the milk hose and the dispenser. grab the dial that lets you change between milking a cappuccino and a flat white, pul is straight out of the removed section. You will find slots in the shaft that are choked with milk solids. This happens when CAPPY RINSE is ignored.

Jura impressa X7 will no longer pull cleaning fluid, dispense milk or steam

I would like to know more in order to better understand. When any of the steam functions are selected do any errors display? Also, does steam come up through the machine from inside? It could also be that a solenoid valve (electronic valve that can operate flow) may be bad. It almost sounds like the problem you have may be coincidental with the hose incident and now it's a little harder to diagnose.

The steam nozzle has broken

Yes you can but it is very hard to get inside the front of the machine if the tube has come off in the front panel, if it has come off one of the solinoids in the right hand side of the machine it is easy to put back on also check that the steam nozzle is not blocked with old milk it will cause the pressure to blow off the tubes

My jura impressa z5 is having trouble foaming the milk...worked fine last season but we can't seem to get it foaming the same as it was before...suggestions??

The common cause is that the frothing connection is faulty. You can look at the Guide to clean the Jura frothing connection, or try this. Take some bicarb or vinegar, dissolve in 400ml luke warm water, select cappuccino maintenance under the options, or press the milk button. Run the complete mixture through then. Run about 600ml of plain water through the spout. Turn the sport from froth to milk and back every 10 seconds.
If this does not work, then there may be a need to decal the machine.

I have an Impressa Z5 and it won't **** milk up the tube as either part of the cappucino program or the stand alone milk program. I've checked and nothing in the nozzle is blocked and the plastic pipe...

There are three possible causes to milk not frothing: 1. The frothing tap is blocked: to unblock either use the cappuccino cleaner from Jura, or in 400ml of luke warm water dissolve a teaspoon of vinegar or 1/2 teaspoon of bicarb and run this liquid through the frother until completely finished (or run the cleaning program). The run about 600-800ml of water through the system. While passing the liquid through let the tap rest at froth, and milk setting for 5 seconds at a time. Repeat if necessary. To prevent this in future clean frother after 5 minute of none use. 2. The breathing nozzle is blocked, you can use the Jura Maintenance guide to see how to disassemble and clean and reassemble, but most Juras come with a spare, so replace it. 3. The machine needs to be descaled, since there is lime or scale in it.

Weak steam flow from milk frothing wand.

This is usually a sign it needs a de-scale. you can get a de-scale solution from most coffee machine retailers. Vinegar can be to harsh and ruin your seals. After frothing your milk make sure you let some steam through without milk to clear milk that can be sucked up wand. You can get cleaning instructions of Saeco web site. Good luck

Steam and froth malfunction

The milk can not be room temperature.  It needs to be cool, does not have to be fridge temperature but can not be warmer than room temperature

Steamed milk

I just had this same problem and solved it.  It was due to a very small amount of milk residue on the inside of the black frothing unit (the one with the dial which lets you choose foam or no foam).  Grip the dial firmly and pull it out while twisting. It may take a few seconds to twist and pull it out.  I had a very small spec of milk residue in one of the crevices on this piece.  Quick clean with a toothpick and plenty of hot water, reassembled, and it works perfectly.  Hope this helps someone.
