Check whether the micro-switch [Channel up/dn] have struck or not. This might cause the TV to jump from channel to channel. Refer its user manual and make an auto search for on air programs. If the do not memorize any of the channels, the fault is with its main system memory IC.

Lost remote ans ended up deletde ch 3 what can i do,plus thr tv is rolling picture.can this be resolved without a remote

rolling of picture can be controlled by v.hold or vertical hold on your tv. some tv has has this control on the back side. if the control is there & it is not controlling the rolling of picture, that means the control is bad & needs replacement. to get ch 3 back: go to menu & try to find SKIP function, go to ch 3 & put off SKIP.

I have a polaroid HDtv and can't program my Brookstone remote to it. can you help? The tv model number is TLA-01911C

There is no code for polaroid tv's for that remote so you will have to do a PowerScan through all the codes to see which one will work. The procedure to do this is below.

Step 1: Manually turn off the device you wish to program (TV, VCR, DVD)

Step 2: Press and hold the appropriate device key (TV, VCR, DVD) until the red LED illuminates. This indicates that the remote is in programming mode.

Step 3: Press and release the power button. The LED flashes once and stays ON. Indicating that the remote is in PowerScan mode.

Step 4: Press either CH+ or CH- button repeatedly until the device switches on. The CH+ button searches upward in the code list while the CH- button searches downward.

Step 5: When the device turns on, press and release the OK button to store the new code and exit.
NOTE: If you press the CH+ or CH- again after the device turns on, the device will not be programmed and you will need to repeat steps 1 - 5.

Step 6: Press any other operable button (VOL+ or VOL-). If the device responds, no further programming is required. If the device does not respond then repeat steps 1 - 5.

If you try scanning through all the codes and none of them work then the remote is not campatible with your tv.

My remote control's input select button wont work.....how do i do it manually?

Not sure about this particular TV, but usually, you select inputs by channel selector. Go to Channel 1 on TV not Cable or dish, Use the channel selector button on the set itself, go down from 1. You should see somthing like Aux or Line, then aux 2 or Line 2 etc.. eventually (3 clicks or so) rolling around to ch 115. But usually between the highest ch on the set and ch 1 are the auxillary input selections.

Input connections are not working properly. Some are black/white, some flash, some dont work. How do I fix it?

is your main antenna / cable (or cable box) connected to tv/monitor cable in...the monitor is on Ch 3...do you have dvd player or vcr...these devices must be set to cable / ch 3 also...and hook up to aux 1 or tv 2 depending on the jacks avail on the back of tv (please note if you are using a dvd recorder premium ch like HBO is and will be scramble)

Directv remote code for polaroid tv

Slide top button on remote to tv. Press and hold mute and select button until the green light on the remote blinks twice. Then press 991. Then press 1. Then press the tv power button once. If the tv doesn't respond hit the channel up button on the remote. If that works press select to store the code and slide the switch back to the left. If it doesn't work keep hitting channel up until it does. It can take up to 30 minutes but it works.
