Our jacuzzi tub is 20 hrs old and possibly is leaking. About 6 mths ago we remodeled bathroom &replaced all tile around tub & shower. We do not want to tear out tile. What would be best way to pin point the leak? Our tub is upstairs master bath & we just noticed stains on the downstairs ceiling directly below the tub. The access door only provides limited space to get tools into. We can see a water stain below the jets on the wood. Help!

If you have a water stain on the ceiling below your tub then you have a water leak. There is no easy solution for this. You must get to the underside of the tub in order to watch the jets when the tub is full of water to isolate the leak and then have it repaired by a plumber.

I have a jacuzzi whirlpool tub in my home that has started to leak at the three button control panel. Flooded out the bathroom so I cut a hole in the tile surround and when the pump is running it leak

First thing you need to do is remove some skirting so you can actually see where the water is coming from.
The 3 position control panel would only leak if the water was above it or covering it if it is located in the wall of the tub. That solution would only require the bather to NOT fill the tub quite so full.
IF however the water is coming from another location then that will be noticeable when you are checking for the water leak.

Can I paint the wallboard that is in my bathroom?it is very smooth, but old. I plan to replace it around the tub with ceramic tile.

I think you can paint the old wallboard but you should get some advice from an experienced one before doing wallboard painting. You can also have a look at shower enclosures where you can find various bathroom accessories that will make your bathroom more elegant and attractive.

Should i use the same drywall in the bathroom as in the rest of the house?

I recommend using MR (Moisture Resistant) drywall for the bathroom, and possibly for the basement if there are moisture issues. It is not much more expensive, and it can save you a big headache later

My jacuzzi bathtub plastics pipes underneath are leaking due to being chewed by rats. So if i fill up the tub to the jacuzzi line holes, water leakes through the chewed pipes on to the wood floor...

no there is no solutions for plugging off the jets so the water doesn't go in them. you will have to pull the tub and repair the lines. no access panel just means you have to dig in!

In my bath the shower and/or tap on/off and temperature control unit is fitted independently on the wall. The plastic plaque covering the plumbing connection has progressively become cracked in three...

You will probably find, that the unit is 'Obselete'
And replacement parts, are not being produced anymore.
Why not change the broken piece, & do some fancy tiling around it.
I recently tiled around a circular mirror in bathroom, and actually it almost looks like a window.
As long as your 'finishing' is up to scratch.
Good luck with that, & don't forget to rate:)

Water leak outside valve

You have a leak where the back plate goes up to the wall OR there is a gasket missing from the trim installation. If this is a tile shower i would suspect the first and use clear tub/tile chaulking to seal around the edge of the plate paying close attention to the grout lines.

Moen shower faucet problem

I need to ask a few questions to solve your problem.

What Model Shower body is it?
How big is the white plastic piece?

If it is about 6 inches around (just smaller than the face plate) and you are installing this shower body in a preexisting tub/shower, this piece can be discarded. It is a guide that is used so the tile contractor knows how much room is needed to service the valve once it is installed.

If this is not the case, just post with a few details and I'll modify my response.
