Put the Card out if in any gadget, and see there will be a small switch/latch on some site of the card, and there will be stated the Lock/unlock state, if it is locked. change the position according to the description and your requirement.

for reliability buy a dedicated micro sd reader as not all the adapters work.

Make sure that you haven't accidently flicked the Read only switch on the side of the memory card

You need an SD card reader and a MicroSD to SD adapter.

you need to delete the folder manually using a PC, or else you need to do it one by one manually

You have to use the data usb cable and connect it
then you can get the pictures from your phone.
Windows can import the pictures when you connect the phone.

Has the card worked before.If it is the first time you have tried,is the SD card an SDHC,as some printers will not read these.Try a standard SD card and see if your printer reads that.Hope this helps.

Did you block the SD card by yourself, I mean the small sliding component in the card.

SD cards do not come with software, they are Plug-n-play. Make sure it is seated correctly, your device should automatically detect it.

USB drives can be write-protected by modifying the StoreageDevicePolicies Registry key and WriteProtect Registry value.
click Start>run>regedit to open Registry Editor. and press control+F to open the find dialogue box and type "usb device" or "driverdesc" to open usb mass storage device or type "usb mass storage device" in the search windows. And right click on it and delete. This will set the policy value to 0. then insert your usb device. It will work fine.
# Remember: do not delete any unknow files in the registry as this will make some programes not work as usual.

alsoIf you are running a Windows XP OS then you might be able to: - click start right click on my computer select open- Right click the icon of your Flash Drive (It should be F:/ or something) - Click Properties in the menu that comes up - Click the Sharing tab - Click permissions - And finally, click Allow next to Full Control.

According to the specifications it is suppose to take up to 2gb Micro SD cards.



Therefor the only reasonable explanation will be the fault might be with the card since you had it in Nokia 3110c it might effect the compatibility with Samsung.

What I would suggest to format the SD card with a PC or card adaptor to PC and put it directly into the Samsung and test it. Also test another card that has not been used before to see if that makes a diference at all?

And if all else fails try a smaller card because allthough the specs say up to 2gb some phones just can't handle it and you might have to try a 512mb or 1gb Micro SD card.

were you able to see what is on This card on the Same computer or phone before? and are you still able to see the files on anything else? (eg: camera?) was the card stored in any device?
There maybe a way to get the files out somehow in another computer or phone but first we need to determine if the card is not damaged...

If you are trying to format it with a device try the computer. if that dont work its most likely time to get a new one

1.Insert card into your phone but don't access it through phone. 2.Run FExplorer and Open the path C:\system. 3.You will find a file called mmcstore ,rename the file mmcstore.txt 4.Copy that file(mmcstore.txt) to your pc and open that file in notepad. 5.You will find your password in that file.
