Nintendo DS Lite - Page 7 Questions & Answers
Nintendogs dalmations isnt working in my console
Can you play other games on your system? If so, it's likely a problem with the cartridge. DS cartridges can be easily damaged and your system may not be reading it, even if the cartridge looks fine. The only option there is to replace the game.
If your DS isn't reading any of your games though, it's the DS's fault. You might have a bad DS.
Im not able to use Nintendo Wi-Fi Conection
Turn on the Nintendo DSi then Click on the wrench icon to access "System Settings." Select "Internet" on the third page of System Settings. Select "Connection Settings" and tap the "None" bar in "Connection 1." You have the option of setting up a connection manually, or searching for available connections in the area. The easiest thing to do is select "Search for an Access Point." Your Nintendo DSi will list the names of any wireless access points in range. A gold, unlocked icon next to the connection's name signifies an unlocked WEP (Wired Equivalent Privacy) connection that can be accessed immediately. A locked gold icon signifies an encrypted WEP connection that requires a WEP key (password).
If you are accessing a locked/encrypted connection, enter your WEP key. You may also click "Change Security Settings" to enter a WPA (Wi-Fi Protected Access) key. If your WEP key is correct, your Nintendo DSi should connect. You can test your connection to verify. You're set! Now you can surf the Internet, purchase games and add-ons in the Nintendo DSi Shop, and play games that allow wireless access and competition (with WEP connections, only).
Note Most Nintendo DS and DSi owners can get online by searching for an access point, but some might have to resort to manual setup. The Nintendo DSi can go online with a WPA connection, but actually playing DSi games online requires a WEP connection.

How to Get WiFi for DS
Depending on which DS you purchase, you can use the console's Wi-Fi settings to play games
against other players around the world or download additional content.
The Nintendo DS and Nintendo DSi allows for gamers to compete with one
another as long as the game being played supports these connections. The
DSi features a built-in web browser as well as a store where entire
games can be purchased and downloaded. In order to access these features
on either console, games must first locate and connect to a wireless
access point.

First of all, turn on your DS. Then navigate to the wrench which is "System Settings."
Select "Internet" and then select "Connection Settings."
Search
for the connection your best choice and will display all possible
networks in the area. You do this by selecting "search for an access

not require a password, or networks that are secure with WEP and do require a password.
If you have WPA secured connection simply select "change security settings" to enter a WPA key.
You should be connected.
BE AWARE, some secure connections are not allowed. You can change these on your routers local ip to either WEP or WPA.
Error Code :51100 Nintendo Wi-Fi
Error Code: 51100
The WEP key for the Access Point you are attempting to connect to has changed since you last connected.
What to do:
-
- Errors ending in 0 = connection file 1
- Errors ending in 1 = connection file 2
- Errors ending in 2 = connection file 3
- Errors ending in 3 = Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector
Verify the Access Point's WEP Key is entered correctly into the Nintendo DS. If your router has slots for more than one WEP key, the first (#1) must be the one selected on your router.
If you have multiple connection files saved to your Nintendo DS, the error message you received can help determine which connection file may be experiencing a problem:
