Dryer turns on but doesnt spin
Are you meaning the drum turns freely by hand? IF so then the belt would be this factor..could be off track/pulley or just stretched over perior of use. That is the main reason that dryers and washers have load limits (weight capacity). But belts to both washer and dryers should always be replaced every 3 years as up keep.

Intermittant flame, ignitor function is good,
Hi
The pilot light flame would sometimes get very small and keep going out. This was usually because the pilot orifice was getting dirty and was partly plugged. The pilot orifice must be cleaned out when the flame becomes too small to light the main burner. You can blow air through the pilot assembly to help clean it out, don't use something metal in the pilot orifice hole or you risk enlarging the pilot gas feed hole and the pilot light may be too BIG. If your pilot flame keeps "going out", chances are you will need to replace the pilot latch do make sure the vent hood flapper is closing ok and no outside air blowing in is effecting the pilot flame.
This is a thermocouple that sensed the heat from the pilot flame and kept a small amount of gas flowing to allow the pilot light to stay lit. If you followed the instructions ( usually found inside the small access door on the front bottom ) on how to re-lite your pilot when it goes out and the flame will not stay on, replace the pilot latch assembly.
Please accept the solution and revert for further assistance.
Thanks

first how is the clothes out of the washer? That might not be spinning fast enough in final spin. When was the last time the dryer vents was cleaned. Do you have a flow out the vent? If so then something might be going on with sensors.

Hi!
Please check the thermal fuse, this fuse blows and can only be replaced not repaired. Check for the continuity in the fuse using a multimeter.
Please revert for any clarifications.
Please rate this solution as FixYa if found useful.

Inglis Gas Dryer Does not heat up at all, No spark, no flame
When you start the dryer , after a few seconds do you hear a distinct click sound from inside the bottom of the dryer at the burner assembly? If you do not, you most likely have a bad thermal fuse, part# 3392519 or 3390719, depending on your dryer. Its the same fuse just different shape, both will work. This is most likely your problem. If you do hear a click, you may have a bad ignitor. Best way to test is to check for 120 at the ignitor. If you have anymore questions or need parts feel free to ask in my forum at

Frigidaire gas front loading dryer smells from
Your gas dryer uses a lot of air, not just the air that blows out the vent but the air
used to burn the gas ( natural or propane ) as well, This
is sometimes caused by the filter not being completely clean. By this I am
referring to the clogging of the screen from the use of fabric softener sheets.
The chemicals in these sheets will, over a period of time, impair the air flow
through the screen and cause the gas odor to become prominent not to
mention the temperature to rise within the dryer. you can clean the filter with soapy
water and a tooth brush about every other month and it keeps this from
occurring. but if after that the smell gas continues ...turn off the gas
valve to the dryer and call for service!

The thermal safety is located on the top of the heating element canister and there is a fuse located on the blower assembly. It is about 1.5 inches long and has two small gauge wires going to it. Hope this helps...
