If you go to the Babylock USA website, locate the Accessories for your particular Babylock model, and there's usually a .pdf file you can download, or instructions on screen for the different accessories.
Can you find the motor and belt? If so check to see if the belt is broken or worn. Don't touch it or remove it... if you do you could end up throwing your machine out of time. (did that once myself) If you see the belt is broken. Take it in to have it cleaned, serviced and the belt replaced.

there are two little screws that you turn counter clockwise and the needle should then be easily pulled straight down. If you have problems take it to dealer for support.
