What size needle does the

The needle size depends on the type of fabric you're using. Generally, if you're sewing heavy or sturdy fabrics you'll need a size 16 needle. If you're sewing light weight fabrics, you'll need an 11. Nowadays, most machines will take any brand of needles. I hope this helps. If it does, please return and rate my suggestion.

I need to know how to adjust the bobbin tension on

There is a tiny screw on the side of the bobbin case.

Mark the **** (in the screw head) position on the bobbin case with tiny dab of nail polish so you will know where the original setting was.

Left/loose and right/tight.

If you are adjusting because the bottom stitching is loose/loopy, first try threading the machine with the presser foot up to see if this solves the problem.

My sewing machine is stuck

hi,

1)Check if your machine is set to sew forward. If the spring doesn't appear to be stretched, drop of WD-40 sewing machine oil.

2)The reverse button is attached to the link that moves a lever to make the machine sew in reverse. The lever is spring loaded so it returns to forward sewing when the button is released. Either the spring has come off or there is a bind in the lever(oil it).

3)Some times pieces of thread or cloth gets blocked in it.

post a comment for further assistance.
Thank you for using fixya have a nice day:-)

How do I thread the Needle?

It is so difficukt to tell without pictures but I'll try. From reel of thread to loop or clip at left top of machine, through the thread guide, down the right side of the take up lever up over the left side, down the front through the loop and into to the needle loop then into the eye of the nedele. I sure hope this helps. :-)

Show do I thread the euro shark 60?

I believe it's on the right side back edge of your machine facing you, most machines have arrows printed on the machine for the direction the thread is to be threaded.

What do I set for straight stitch on the shark euro-pro 384

It should automatically be set on straight stitch when it is switched on. Which means the needle is in the centre. (Hope this wasn't the reason you were given it.) You can try Manuals on line as Euro Pro is hard to get hold of.

How do I adjust the

Make sure that your top threading is right. My sister in law has this same machine and it is a really hard thing to do, Your manual has very vague instructions but check your thread going through the tension discs by pulling on the top thread with the presser foot up, it should pull smoothly, now put the presser foot down, it should barely move. /Sometimes this seats the thread in the tension discs. She is having no luck with the buttonhole making. In 50 years of sewing I have never seen a more vague manual and no customer service at all.

The know on the side of the machine that rotates the needle when turned by hand is tight, hard to turn. What do I need to do to fix it or adjust it so that it turns without having to force it to turn

I do have a couple of suggestions but would feel better if you'd first e-search Sharpe's site for your model's "Service manual"-a manual for simple repairs and how your machine disassembles and runs. With it you'd be a step ahead on a lot of your machine's maintenance and trouble issues!Don't give up too easily on your search.Sharpe likely sold the right to make your exact machine to other machine makers. These companies may have a Service Manual if Sharpe doesn't. You may be able to save and print from a PDF file. I'm not "up" on the newer machines so am assuming you have a belt drive machine: a rubber-like belt that is turned by the hand knob as well as the motor. What your describing is likely a too tight screw that secures the knob to the belt revolutions' workings (especially if the knob has been removed before). If your Sharpe knob pulls (toward your hand) to stop the needle for bobbin winding and THAT's too tight, then you have another screw in the knob to slightly loosen! In both cases, carefully disassemble the knob and look for the problem screw(s). Should the machine smell like burning rubber or make a screeching sound at high speed you'll need to change the belt and adjust it-probably with a professional.Old belts do get stiff, cracked and sometimes ragged so a new belt can make the motor run quieter and smoother.Hope this helps you especially, maybe others as well.

I have been sewing all morning. Suddenly the fabric does not feed everything is clean

Look at the feed dogs to see if they are rising above the needle plate at least 1 mm. If not rising lint may have felted between the feed dogs and the needle plate. It could also be the feed dogs have been lowered, or the height has slipped. If the feed dogs are above the needle plate turn the hand wheel and see if they are moving from the front of the machine to the back. If not it is a length adjustment. If this is normal the pressure on the fabric may be too low. Another problem may be the timing of the feed dogs. The feed dogs should rise above the needle plate when the needle leaves the fabric and descend when the needle comes down into the fabric. This requires an expert to fix.
