It is possible that your pressure relief valve is on it's last legs. Call the company at 800-221-0516 and get another one. You may still have warranty protection so ask them about that when u call. J.

Check to see what your inlet pressure is. If your inlet pressure is lower than what is recommended, the pump will put out more than it is getting into it. Also check to see if it has an inlet screen. If it does, it may be plugged up, & need cleaning. The only other thing would be the pump itself is worn out, or has something jammed in the impeller, not knowing how old it is.

The spray wand has a short plastic tube that the rubber hose slides over. Here's what it should look like, if it's not broken:
A 'band clamp' goes over the rubber hose to tighten it onto that little tube. If the band clamp is missing, you can get one at a hardware store - just find the size that fits over the rubber hose. If the rubber hose end is torn or cracked, just make a new clean cut with a knife.
But if the plastic tube has broken off the wand, you need to get a new wand. Good news - it's not expensive. This one's only 8 bucks.

Most snow blowers do not have a transmission. They have a 'friction disc' that is belt driven. Sometimes rust build up from one year to the next will keep the friction disc from sliding to higher 'gear' to lower 'gear'. Yes the impeller is probably shot. If you can find the parts it should be easy enough.

Try running without filter if ok clean filter and put back. This is and air/fuel mix problem,did you adjust idle screw??

Disassemble and clean the carb. If it ran briefly with the starer fluid then gasoline is not coming through the carb.
