Northstar Pressure Washer 2800 PSI Questions & Answers
Pump oil change, how much oil
There should be a drain plug (bolt) at the bottom of the pump to drain the oil. Undo bolt and drain the oil. Replace bolt and fill pump with new oil. Look for a sightglass on the side of the pump. Fill so the oil level is in the centre of sightglass.

I am having trouble getting
Hi jetrad1,
Do you have the engine make and model? Do you have a manual for it?
Here is the manual for your pressure washer: http://www.northerntool.com/downloads/manuals/1577543.pdf
Copy and paste this web address into your browser and the manual will download for you.
The instructions for oil in the pump, if you need that also, are on page 18 and go by the pump make and model.
Please reply back with your engine make and model and I will look that up for you.
Thanks for visiting with fixya.com

What do I have to do to winterize my pressure washer?
Gasoline goes bad after sitting for an extended period of time.
Old school people would drain the gas out of the tank but found this lead to rust forming in the tank.
Now it is best to fill the tank with high octane gas and use a winterizing fuel additive to prevent problems.
Also remove any water from the hoses.
In the spring replace the gas and change the oil and you should be good, changing the spark plug would also be beneficial.

Oil leak at top of pump
The oil in the pump is probably leaking because a seal is blown and water is getting into the piston housing. Take a look inside at the oil. It should be brown and translucent. If it is gray, white or milky, you have a blown oil seal. This reservoir should only be 1/3 full of non-detergent oil to begin with. Hope this helps

I think you mean an UN Loader this is a valve that redirects (bypasses) the pressureized water back into the intake when you release the trigger When it is not working the machine continues to build pressure and will bog down
