Husqvarna rancher, leaks oil when saw is off.
The hose is leaking. You will have to replace the hose. You do not have to disassemble the saw in half as many seem to think. Just some of the parts that are in the way. You can insert a wire and pull the hose out from the oil tank along with the filter. It goes in and you remove only the parts that are in the way where the hose comes out.
How to adjust automatic oiler on 455 husqvarna
I'm sorry, but I'm not aware of any adjustments that can be made to the oiler. Just make sure the ports are clean so that the oiler doesn't get clogged and that the oil lines are all clear and you should be good.
Husqvarna 234G chainsaw requires overhaul where
You have to understand that this is quite an old saw, so some parts may be no longer available, when you say over haul how far do you want to go? if the big end and main bearings are ok, i would leave well alone, maybe a new piston ring, or piston if it is still obtainable, rebuild the carb with new diaphrams, new plug, new fuel filter, check out the anti vibration rubbers, if there is ecesive movement then replace them, check the condition of the brake band in the brake.
I have a 2005 honda rancher and when i give it gas i chookes out,but will sit and idel
On the bottom of your carbeurator (very bottom of the bowl) there should be a drain screw/plug. Turn the fuel petcock off, then loosen the screw to drain the sediment bowl. When it is done draining, turn the fuel back on and let it drain through for a second, before tightening the drain screw. The bike might take an extra few seconds to start, just needs to refill itself with fuel. This usually resolves that problem, i've had it happen on many ATVs/Motorcycles in the past. Could be water or sediment in the bowl, or a sticky needle valve. Good luck.NOTE: use care when draining, about a cup of gasoline will be lost; use a container to catch fuel.
Husqvarna not pumping oil
Check the oil lines to make sure none of them are clogged and that the oil holes in the bar aren't clogged.
Oil pump not working
The oil pump is adjustable ( 3 position ) the adjuster screw is under the crankcase below the sprocket, there is also a filter on the end of the pick up hose, you can gently pry this out of the oil tank, there it is a grommet fit into the tank, there is also a nylon drive gear driven by the back of the drive sprocket, this may be damage and not turning the pump shaft.
Husqvarna 460 rancher: oil pump not working.
The oil pump is adjustable ( 3 positions ) the adjuster screw is located under the crankcase below the sprocket, there is also a filter in the oil tank, you will need to gently lever out the oil pick up pipe from the oiltank, it has a grommet in the centre to keep it tight in the tank, failing that there is a nylon gear driven via the drive sprocket, this may have become damaged.
I have a Rancher 455 chainsaw - when changing the
I have done the same exact thing myself. It's not going to be easy. I had to compress the spring by hand. there should be a little cover screwed down covering the spring, carefully remove it. this spring is pretty strong, so if you let it out of the channel its in, it probably going to eject across the room. I don't think theres a specific method, just use ingenuity and force the spring to open up the ring that grabs the oustide of the clutch, and move the mechanism inside to lock it there, then re-cover the spring, line up the 3 notches, and it'll go right back on. Don't be surprised if it takes a little while.
Husqvarna ranger 55 chainsaw starts but quits
Sounds like it could be fuel starvation. I just had a case of exact same except mine finally worsened. Most likely and what I just encountered, its your fuel line. It's a quick and simple fix and you can do it yourself. Youtube has several videos showing you how to do it. Feel your tube, if it feels soft or spongy, it's probably got cracks or even a pin hole somewhere. It's $10 and as I've learned, one of the most common fixes when saws start cutting out at full throttle or under load. My dealer said he's been through 15 of them in the past 3 months.
