Wher do the two carburator linkages hook up to a husqvarna on a 455 rancher

The throttle wire plasric end sits through the back of the crancase and into the square cut a way into the tank back handle, the hooked wire end drops into the carb throttle spindle on the r/h side of the carb, the blue clip on the spendle then rotated and locks the wire in, the choke pull just pushes into the choke spindle on the l/h side of the carb, it has a bullet style end to stop it popping out again

Huskavarna 455 rancher with pplug keeps popping out

This is the de compression button, it should be pushed in every time you start the saw, it makes it easier for you to start the saw and reduces the stress and wear on the starter components, it will automatically pop out when the saw starts.

Chain saw will not start

sure sounds like you did it all.Was the Plug wet with gas when you took it out to fuel it directly? I would take the plug back out, blow out or let the Cylinder totally dry. Then spray a bit of Starter fluid in the carb and see if you get life.Old gas left in a saw is a Carburetor killer. The paper components in these carbs can not stand the new 10% ethanol gas.

How to test ignition module

There are plenty of spark testers on the market, if you want a quick check remove the spark plug, use a new plug with twice the plug gap 0.6mm earth against the cylinder ( away from the opem plug hole ) crank the engine at normal starting speed, if there is a spark the unit is probably fine.

Husqvarna 51 will not start

Two things to check, ren=move the flywheel and check the key has not sheared, remove the muffler and check the condition of the piton through the open exhaust port, any signs of scuffing or damage and the saw will have to come apart for further investigation.

Why rapid fuel consumpsion on the husqvrana 455 rancher?

There are only a few reasons, either the saw is running too rich on the carb settings ( i think you would know notice this due too poor engine performance ) or the air filter is blocked ( again this would effect engine performance ) or the the tank is leaking.

My Husqvarna chain saw 455

If you are looking for a diagram you will get the carb in pieces and not what you are looking for.. How to fix this is simple.. Take the carb off the saw. you will notice on both side has screws hold on a plate.. on one side will be four screws and on the other will be one screw.. take the side with one screw out and take carb cleaner or a blow gun and lightly blow that side of the carb down. make sure nothing is blocking the screen filter. once its all clean put it back together.. on the other side take the four screw out be careful this is the side that has the diaphragm and it could tear. you will see a needle there make sure nothing is blocking the needle from moving.. blow that side down also. put everything back together and try to run the saw.. it might start hard because you blew everything out of it.. however with a little carb cleaner or gas sprayed in the carb it should catch. If it doesn't catch or start to burn the gas going though the carb then replacing the carb is something to think about.

Can't get no power to ignition 350 rancher

HiMake sure you are getting spark at the spark plug, to do this:Remove your spark plug and check to be sure you are getting a bright blue spark at the spark plug. You do this by grounding the plug on the head of the engine and pulling the crank rope...watching the plug for spark. If you are getting a nice blue spark then skip A below and go to B.A...If you do not get a nice blue spark then you may need to replace the electronic module.Note: If you have to replace the module be sure to measure the position it is in, it is critical to starting.B...Also take some fine grit sandpaper (not emery) and lightly sand the flywheel where the magnet is located to clean any rust or corrosion from the magnet area. Please take time to rate meBud

The fuel hose is just pulled into the tank ( interference fit ) take a new hose, cut one end into a point, push this into the top of the tank as far as you can, now grab the end through the the fuel filler holr and pull the hose on through, pull enought through to allow the filter to move in the tak.
