I would like to know more in order to better understand. When any of the steam functions are selected do any errors display? Also, does steam come up through the machine from inside? It could also be that a solenoid valve (electronic valve that can operate flow) may be bad. It almost sounds like the problem you have may be coincidental with the hose incident and now it's a little harder to diagnose.

malfunction 4 is the steam boiler sensor has failed

There is a little shoot that you pull up between the grinders, the pills fit there, if they do not they are the wrong pills. they should be semi circle pills

Well first of all you Run a clean cycle, if further you have the same problem then you try removing the tray at the front of the machine. Look inside and you will see a rubber flap which separates the right and left side of the machine. Gently lift this to the right and look inside to the left. You will find a small circular screen. You need to wipe ALL the coffee grinds off of this screen.

It runs until the water runs out so if your water tank is full it will run a very long time. Use only the amount of water specified in the manual.

add a capfull of the cleaning fluid to a litre of water, insert milk tube and request cappuccino clean from the cleaning button...icon of cleaning tablet surrounded by water droplets, second row second button from lefthand side...then follow screen instructions to step your way through the cleaning selections with +and - buttons.
I keep the cleaning fluid held high to allow it to continue running after the cleaning action.
Remember to run clean water through the pipes using the same method above.

Question moved from Cars and Trucks to Jura Impressa category. When you add a maker, you are offered the correct category, 'Impressa' gives you generic Cars and Trucks. You have a 'Replace Now' message that no one else has! https://www.google.com/search?q=Jura+Impressa+S9+%22replace+now%22 However, try this. Remove the Grounds Bin. Disconnect from the power. There are 16 mentions. I think it refers to the grounds bin being not fully placed. I have come across this many times, there is a small infra-red sensor or a proximity sensor.
