Go to your local hardware store and ask for a new tilet repair kit for your tank. They make universal kits for just about any tank. They can give you some tips on how to do it your self or you can go on youtube and search "toilet tank repair".

Try checking plumbing supply houses instead of home improvement stores. Im not sure where you are located. Here in MO. I use Harry Cooper Supply or Riback Supply or Southern Materials. A good supply house should be able to help you find what you are looking for. Hope this helps.

You can only go to the top of the overflow pipe. Is it up that far? The filler is adj, just lift up on it, and the water level will come up. Usually how they work. Check it out.

I would go with the wax rings... but I would press the ring into the base of the toilet before installing the toilet....that way you are sure to have a good seal to the toilet....

If you actually read the directions, the manufacturer will tell you to press the wax ring onto the toilet....then install it onto the floor drain.
I guess that a PLAIN wax ring placed on the floor drain (since it is recessed) before placing the rubber-sleeve equipped ringed toiled is a good safety measure... I have done that an it work about 37 times out of 40.

You place the plastic sleeve down toward the drain. If that does not seal due to the floor being higher than the drain mount simply add another wax ring minus the plastic sleeve. You can buy wax rings that do not have the plastic sleeve. In lots of cases you have to use 2 wax rings to get a good seal. Make sure you securely tighten the toilet down.

Go to a hardware outlet(Lowe's, HomeDepot, etc.) and ask for a commode drain extension that can be placed over the existing and bring it up to the level of your floor. I also like the wax rings with the cup molded in. These can be doubled up also but not as reliable as the extension.

Make sure the water supply is turned on. Its located near the bottom of the toilet in the back, turn the handle to the left to allow water flow.

If that doesn't do it then turn off the water supply by turning the silver handle all the way to the right.

The culprit at this point would be the fill-valve. It looks something like this it could vary a bit by model of toilet:




remove the supply line from the bottom of the toilet, if you have a flex point it into a bucket, a hard line put a tray under there and hold your hand around the top of it. Then turn the valve on a second to see if you have pressure.
If you have pressure change the fill valve (fluidmaster). This is the most likely culprit.
If you have no pressure remove the line from the speedy valve and repeat. If this gets you pressure change the supply line to the toilet.

Should be a few flat rubber washers and a few metal or heavy plastic washer,But sometimes even when all the parts are right you still need to apply a little silicon or even plumbers putty.I do this to all that I work on,Just as a preventative measure.This is also the quickest and least cost effective way to repair it.

No, replace the whole thing. That is bad design and inferior parts. Ask Moen to replace it under warranty. They might say No, but then again, they might know of a fix or if they had a bad batch of plastic parts.

Hi, Please attempt to start the jacuzzi without any water and see if it functions. Then you can fill the jacuzzi up to 1/4th with water and check if it continues to run. If so, continue to one half full. If this jacuzzi breaks down at these water levels, then you'd need to call the manufacturer to advise on what part needs to be changed to get everything working again. Thank you.

Hello, Several things can cause this problem- if you post a picture of the inside of the tank so we can have a good look at how the fill/stop mechanism operates that would be great. We could more than likely identify some type of problem and solution. Not all flush/fill mechanisms are not the same but thats surely where your problem is UNLESS its in your water lines.
