Hi
Try this simple steps to find out leaks in the Jacuzzi hot tub:-
Look carefully underneath the pump for your Jacuzzi hot tub. If the seal on the pump is causing the leak, you will see water or moisture beneath it.
Inspect the hot tub's heater and the area around it. Like the pump, you will see water around or beneath the heater if it's causing the leak.
Find the other connections for your Jacuzzi hot tub and inspect them as well. This includes the unions, pipes, pressure switch and any other connections. If there's excessive moisture or puddles of water, then you've located the leak.
Give the valves of your Jacuzzi hot tub, such as on the pump, another look if you still can't find the leak. Often the valves can have a very small leak that's tough to detect.
Drop small amounts of dark food coloring into the water if you suspect the leak could be in the tub itself. Watch the dye. If it moves toward the tub wall, then that's where the leak is located. Continue dropping dye until you see it move within the water.
Also deactivate all jets and fill the hot tub up to the top. Keep track of the water pressure, checking back every 30 minutes to an hour--depending on how fast the water is leaking. Mark the water level with a grease crayon. Observe until the water level stops dropping; this lets you know the leak is above that level.
Search for any likely sources of leakage near the level at which the water stopped leaking. For example, look for broken seals around jets or light fixtures. This simple search may enable you to find the source of the leak.
