Hyundais have the tendancy to blow the ignition switch, yours was probabbly replaced, and by doing so you will need the Original key the car came with, not the new one included in the kit for the ignition switch.. also have you checked the little battery for the keyfob??? it probabbly went dry.

best regards!

Easy, find someone that has an OBD2 meter and get the error code # ( an example is Po256) Then plug the code number into google and it will tell you what is wrong.
You have to have a sensor on the engine component for the ck engine lite to come on. Leaking fluid will usually not have a sensor, so this is not the engine light problem.

Vacuum leak is most likely candidate, but can also be a fuel pressure or injector problem. To test the sensor, the computer purposely commands a quick rich lean cycle to see how fast the sensors react. If injectors are dirty, pressure is off or there's a vacuum leak, it can screw up the response time.

Confirm ur fuel pump is working. Ensure ur pickup tube is not blocked. Then ensure u did not leave a rag or parts in the manifold tubes. Not laughing it happens. Is the distributor in the right spot. Etc etc. Did u rehook the alt up if removed . Is tje battery fully charged. And lastly is the fuel flowing and freash. Then recheck your work did u replace all parts right. Any air in the head gasket will make the fuel /air mixture off.
Good luck

You may have to drive 300 to 500 miles or more,on multiple days and at different speeds and make sure to include long deaccelerations with your foot off the gas to set the EVAP. Most areas allow 1 monitor "not reset" and still give a full pass.Check your area for allowed number of monitors. If the check engine light stays out,the monitors will eventually reset,but on a older Hyundai it takes time.

manifold absolute pressure sensor (MAP sensor )
mass air flow sensor MAF you can clean .

admissions = emissions !
accelerate again and it starts to stutter. Try the TPS - throttle position sensor .
