How to check ower window switch 92 chevy trk 5

If you take a 12 volt test light, you can get one at a parts store.you take this switch where the wires are on the bottom.turn the ignition switch on, and take the test light, and ground the wire end of this light(it will be a alligator clip)And take the pointed end and stick it where the where the wires go in the switch.(make sure it is for the correct side window.)push down on this rocker switch and the test light should illuminate! if not that way, move the switch to the up position. If you have your test light on the right wire it this switch is good, then the light should illuminate.most cases i see is Window lift motor wore out! On another quick trick is ! With the ignition switch on, Hold the button down in the direction you want it to go AND SLAM THE DOOR REAL HARD!!! It has worked on my F150,and still going GOOD LUCK

Sounds like the injector is not supplying the proper amount of fuel. Try unpluging the TPS first and then the IAC motor, both located on the trottle body.

Truck cranks only to die

Classic symptoms of a fuel feed problem. The engine is not getting enough gas for some reason. Check fuel pressure, should be around 11 to 13 PSI.

1992 chevy truck shifts back and fourth from od to

There are different things that this runs off of. The most common problem is the seals on the torque converter clutch solenoid. Try a bottle of tranx, this is a seal conditioner. works most of the time. But once it starts doing it again, it has to have the seals replaced on the entire package. Good thing is that this lasts up to several years. 3 or 4

what transmission is in the truck ! one is due to an electronic selonoid the other is due to transmission pressure in in overdrive -- also is it over drive that does not make it, or the lock up convertor ?? I reccomend you take the truck to the best transmission shop in town or a GM dealer for an accurate diagnosis of the transmission malfunction(s).Not a time to make an uninformed or an expensive mistake !! have a good day !!

My 92 chevy silverado a/c light is flashing and

if you know system for a fact has full charge, The low pressure switch will keep ac from engageing, thus shut the system back off. it is simple to replace it is on the reciever dryer under hood on passenger side a silver cylinder you will see a switch like plug on the dryer this is a common problem.and they just unscrew and usually have a valve underneath that keeps you from losing freon if you remove quickly.
