If your having trouble locating a fuel filter on a late model GM there is a good reason as to why you can not find one. The fuel filter has been combined with the fuel pump module. There is no longer a "serviceable" fuel filter on many late model GM Vehicles. The filter gets replaced when or if the fuel pump fails. Usually means the alternator is not charging the battery.

Ask the dealer for the code it is free also the only place that has it. Tell them you just bought the car Cheers!

try pushing brake pedal, then insert key and flip it on and off 3 or 5 times then remove it. see if it will start.

They are located on the intake manifold below the carburetor or fuel injection. They are shaped like a round diaphragm with a hose attachment

coil pack is bad

check all your grounds and wiring too and from alternator and battery

Have speedometer cable wire checked. there is usaully a sender on the transmission. Look on internet for speedometer rebuild shop
