because water is seeping into the ignition system, security system or horn/Colum & is grounding as soon as you turn on your ignition . After warming ,things melt or dry up & your good to go. Check under that hood near the horn for water or ice or water leak at the windshield to the column. You may have to strip the steering column which would also mean removal of the steering wheel. Not a great job, especially with the air bag. I would suggest getting a Dealer to do it. The ignition switch / lock will likely have security screws in it as well.

You get to them from the top. Follow the wires to where they are connected and pull them off. The spark plug is under there. I am assuming you have a 6 cylinder so there will be 6 wires.

The 1.5 engine uses a distributor and plug wires, the 1.8 engine uses a coil on each plug. Number two would be the second over from the timing belt.

Remove the bolts and unplug wires then lift them out. The b9olts are probably hidden under plastic trim.

should be under the hood on drivers side in a black box...if that doesnt turn it off you may have to remove the wires to the horn...you have a hard short somewhere ...mainly happens at steering wheel.

Loosen upvyhe tenssioners and pull the belts off

If the batt tests good, I'd check the solenoid. Bypass the solenoid by giving power directly to the starter motor. If the Engine turns over, your have a bad solenoid. If not you have a bad starter motor.

when you go to a auto parts store they should have a listing for the correct bulb for you car and its application, brake light can be an 1137 bulb but its best to verify with the auto supply store.

Your starter is going.

If it's EOBD code, it means transmission turbines speed sensor error.Could be wiring to the TCM. transmission control module. View life data of the transmission. There should two speed data(usually in rpm), one is input from engine and the other the transmission shaft speed.

if you have no power at all, like the engine wont turn over you have blown your fuse-able link on the positive cable thats the simple fix .you might have blown a ecu or a fuse in your fuse box allways start with the simple part first (fuses).

Check your vacuum lines and see if any are disconnected or cracked and let me know what you see. Better yet take some pictures and show us what things look like.

computer re-calibrate in what is called a trip. One trip consist of starting car when engine is completely cooled off, driving until engine is at normal operating temp(temp gauge), turn off let engine completely cool again. Most cars take 3-5 "trips" to verify changes made. So i would play it safe and call it "5 Trips"
