First clear that error from service mode. Press additional function press 2 and 8 together press additional function agian service mode should appear in screen select copier select function select "clear" select "err" select ok. unplug power cord for a few seconds and restart the machine try to make some copies if problem persist replace the fixing heater assembly

may be need to reset drum life from the menu check if there is instruction guide inside drum box

what you need to do is just resetting your machine. 1. Press * 28 * on your machine in a quick move. 2. Select copier 3. Select Err. 4. Select Clear then press O.K 5. Turn your machine off for 1 minute and turn it on again. The error code will not be there anatmoreand your machine will be functioning well.

The Pixma MX330 Line port needs to be connected to a POTS (plain old telephone service) line jack with an RJ-11 cable. A standard corded telephone or the base of a cordless system gets connected to the Tel port on the MX330. The Comcast modem connects devices to the internet. You might be able to use a VOIP (voice over internet protocol) service between the MX330 and the modem. You will need the appropriate hardware (MagicJack, Ooma) in between the modem and the Pixma and get an assigned telephone phone number. Generally, you will need a compatible router to share the cable modem's internet service between any computers and a stand-alone VOIP system like the Ooma. I hope this helps. is the telephone line connected correctly? have you try to send faxes? The machine is set to work as tel/fax or just Fax?

if the cartridge is new ( not refilled) the problem maybe is the carriage unit or the logic board, in both cases is better to replace the printer
